Our Philosophy

A Simple Idea.
A Powerful Impact.

Every revolution begins with a belief. For us, it was the belief that even waste paper can create extraordinary change.

The Paper Revolution Foundation (TPR Foundation), formerly known as RADDI – Paper Scrap, is a volunteer-driven non-profit that collects paper scraps from homes, institutions, and communities and converts them into funds that support education and social development initiatives.

What looks like raddi to many becomes roshni for someone else.

How We Turn Scrap into Opportunity

1. Collect

Paper scrap from homes, housing societies, offices, schools, and institutions.

2. Convert

Scrap is ethically sold to authorised recyclers and converted into funds.

3. Create Impact

Funds are utilised for education, learning centres, school support, and community development initiatives.

What We Stand For

Everything we do is anchored in three core values.

Education as Empowerment

Education is not just about textbooks; it's about confidence, choice, and courage. We work to ensure that underprivileged children receive the support they need to explore their potential and build a better future.

Responsible Citizenship

Social change is incomplete without responsible citizens. We promote civic sense, rational thinking, and awareness about social and environmental issues demanding collective attention.

Unity Through Participation

We believe real progress happens when people come together. By involving citizens, volunteers, donors, and communities, we work towards a more inclusive, empathetic, and harmonious society.

“Everyone deserves a chance to choose the kind of life they want to live ahead. Locality, language, lack of facilities, and guidance should not act as barriers to that choice.”

Our Origin

A Movement Born from Purpose

The Paper Revolution Foundation was founded by Pranav Prakash Patil, driven by a simple conviction to be of help to people around him.

During his college years, Pranav proposed the idea of collecting scrap paper to fund education. Though the idea wasn’t accepted institutionally, it found encouragement from his mentor, Mrs Aparna Unhale, who introduced him to the concept of collecting scrap for a cause.

With a few close friends, he began collecting raddi, door to door, society to society. In September 2016, this effort took shape as the Raddi Paper Scrap Group, which later evolved into The Paper Revolution Foundation.

“Change doesn’t require wealth or power. It requires intent, consistency, and people who care.”
